Organic
fertilizers

Why should you use organic fertilizer? First of all, it reduces environmental pollution by ensuring full-cycle farming. What comes from nature returns to nature. Organic fertilizers promote microbiological activity in the soil, increasing the amount of nutrients available to plants and providing them with nutrients over a longer period of time. As a result, a stronger root system is formed, which ensures healthier plants and a high-quality harvest. If fresh manure tends to contain pathogens dangerous to human health, dried granulated manure does not have them, as it has been destroyed by the high temperature during the production process.

Mārīte Gailīte, expert of Latvian gardeners’ association “Latvijas dārznieks”.

Alpacas and llamas have three-chambered stomachs (cows have four-chambered stomachs) and plant seeds are completely processed during the digestion process, so the poop pellets do not contain weed seeds.

Alpaca and llama manure contains a relatively high amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in organic form. Alpaca manure has the highest content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium of any other natural fertilizer and forms a perfect balance. They also contain calcium, magnesium and sulfur.

These fertilizers can be compared with slow-acting mineral fertilizers and accurately calculate the dose required by plants without the risk of over-fertilizing them or polluting the environment.

They have a lower content of organic matter than manure from other animals (cow, horse, goat, sheep, etc.), resulting in a higher concentration of nutrients, and they also improve soil texture and water storage capacity. Their low content of organic matter allows alpaca manure to be applied directly to the plants without burning them.

Their granules can be added to the soil at any time of the year and at any stage of growth.
